5 common questions answered
NHTSA’s wiring harness recall addresses an exposed engine-harness wire that may contact another wire and create a short or electrical arcing. The result could impair the engine, transmission, or fuel pump, raising the risk of an engine stall and crash; arcing or a short also raises fire risk. The tire recall covers certain Continental tires that may have been cured too long during production. They can develop a sidewall break, lose air suddenly, or experience belt-edge separation and tread or belt loss, potentially reducing control. Waiting can leave these risks unresolved, so arrange a free VIN check and promptly address any open remedy.
