5 common questions answered
NHTSA identifies two safety concerns for the 2019 Nissan Sentra. A brake light switch may become contaminated, preventing the brake lights from illuminating and increasing the risk of a crash. A separate backup camera recall involves display settings that may cause the rear-view image to disappear, also increasing crash risk. These issues can affect communication with vehicles behind you and visibility while reversing. Waiting can leave a known safety concern unresolved, even if the vehicle seems to drive normally. A free VIN check shows whether either remedy remains open, helping you take action before a preventable situation occurs.
