Nissan Kicks Named One of 10 Best Interiors According to WardsAuto

The Nissan Kicks has some strong inside game as it was named to have one of the best interiors, according to WardsAuto.

WardsAuto evaluated 32 vehicles that had new or significantly redesigned interiors, and the Kicks stood out for a number of reasons, including having the lowest price-as-tested MSRP of the entire field.

The panel of eight WardsAuto editors also acknowledged Kicks for its high quality stitching and soft surfaces on the instrument panel "befitting a more expensive vehicle." In addition, they found that its available Intelligent Around View® Monitor, was "handy in tight spots and which used to be available only in INFINITI luxury cars." They also noted the available Bose® Personal Plus Audio System that includes driver's headrest-mounted speakers.

The interior of the Kicks provides ample passenger space throughout the cabin, including best-in-class front seat legroom. The Nissan Kicks also offers plenty of cargo space with the rear seats folded down.

The Kicks features a modern and simple wide instrument panel design that is dominated by a centrally mounted 7.0-inch color display housing a comprehensive infotainment system with available Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone connectivity.

Safety, security, as well as driver convenience features are strong points for Nissan Kicks. Automatic Emergency Braking is standard on all grade levels, along with seven air bags and RearView Monitor. Kicks SV and Kicks SR add Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The Kicks is offered in three models: Kicks S, Kicks SV and Kicks SR. Each model is equipped with a standard 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder with Continuous Variable Valve Timing Control System. The engine is rated at 122 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque. Combined with a smooth, fuel-efficient Xtronic transmission, fuel economy is rated at 33 mpg combined.
